PA6.10 is a polymer used in high-tech products with a low environmental impact. Part of its raw material is derived from plants, which makes it more environmentally friendly than other nylons; it is believed that PA6.10 will be used more and more as fossil raw materials become scarce.

In terms of performance, PA6.10's moisture absorption and saturated water absorption are significantly better than PA6 and PA66, and its heat resistance is better than PA11 and PA12.
